The Foundation of Student Horizons is a registered Australian Charity with DGR (deductible gift recipient) status. The Foundation was established by Jamie and Brooke Wansey, owners of educational travel company (Student Horizons), who saw the need to fill a gap in the community – to ensure all students have access to travel opportunities and experiential learning whilst at school.

Jamie Wansey is an avid believer that overseas travel should be a critical pillar in a young person’s development. He strongly feels that travelling when young can provide a sense of global interconnectedness and understanding of other cultures and these outcomes are important for a more peaceful world.

The Foundation of Student Horizons provides financial support to those students with significant financial hardship, helping to reduce the number of young people unable to take advantage of educational travel opportunities during secondary education.
